Sorry, this is a work in progress. We copied the navigation from the German version. It would be a hell of a work to delete all German windows and put it in again after translation. So we do it this way: Every week we will translate one country following our travel route from north to south an back. Beginning in Tunisia.

The start (click on the car), Tunisia, Algeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, CAR and New Sudan are already translated. You can look at the pictures of the CAR and Zambia and all our travel routes.

We started Friday night at five a clock in the morning. The rear interior of our Toyota Troopie BJ75 locked a bit like garage sale. The storage master Sabine gave up at three a clock and just pushed the stuff inside.

While getting some sleep in Switzerland Sabine woke me up because of some strange engine noise. The noise was promising a major crankshaft bearing problem (and as result the end of the trip before really starting) ...

The officials are doing the best to be as bad as their reputation. Every 10 kilometre they build up a roadblock by putting two warning triangles on the road. Due to their incompletely uniforms, you are never sure if you meet the police, the custom, the forest protection police, the presidential guard, one of the several other forces or a real coupeur de route (French: robber). They all want the same: money ...
